The Raas Garba Mahotsav by Priyadarshini MBA college was high on energy

The Raas Garba Mahotsav by Priyadarshini MBA college, Nagpur saw students in full attendance. Almost all students were dressed in traditional attires and seemed completely drenched in the fervour of Navratri.

It was heartening to see the heads of departments, the principal and the director of the college, the professors and the section-in-charges joining the students in the celebrations. At the end of the dancing session, a few prizes were also distributed. Shalu Bisi, Aniket Chakave and Pallavi Bhise won the titles ?best dressed, best energetic dancer? and ?best dancer? respectively. The dancing session was followed by Durga Puja at the campus.

Students walk the ramp as influential personalities at PIETs cultural fest ‘Saptrang’

Nagpur’s PIET (Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology) students paid rich tributes to influential personalities, particularly Indians, during a fashion show round at the colleges fest – Saptrang organised in association with Nation Next as media partner.

During the round, students dressed as Rani Laxmibai, Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule, Former PM Indira Gandhi, PM Narendra Modi, late Indian-origin astronaut Kalpana Chawla, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Olympic boxer Mary Kom, acid attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal, first transgender Judge of a Lok Adalat Joyita Mondal, etc., walked the ramp to bring to the fore the contribution and virtues of these personalities. The round got a huge applause from the audience.

Before this unique round, several students walked the ramp as well in different fashion show rounds as part of a competition. This competition was judged by city fashion designer Aditi Rai. After the competition, winners from the different cultural and sporting activities held during the six-day long fest, were awarded during a prize distribution ceremony.

Post the prize distribution ceremony at Saptrang, students danced away to glory during Trance Mee, which brought Anitron, DJ Arsh and DJ SR to PIET to play some foot-tapping numbers.

PIET students showcase their talent at cultural fest Saptrang 19

Students from different departments of Nagpur’s PIET (Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology) had a rocking time on the 5th day of the colleges annual cultural fest – Saptrang 19 – which was organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner.

On the 5th day of the six-day long fest, students showcased their talent and entertained the audience as they participated in singing, drama and dance competition. The judges for these competitions were: Swarda Mote and Maithili Barhate (Singing), Shikha Khare (Drama) and Madhumita Gubre and Karishma Wath (Dance). Those who didn’t take part in competitions, showcased their talent through stand-up comedy, poetry recitation and guitar jamming sessions.

Most students, on the 5th day of Saptrang 19′, were dressed in traditional outfits. Needless to say, students had a field day clicking selfies with their BFFs.

Priyadarshini MBA College, Nagpur, recently organised a memorable farewell party for the senior batch of its MBA students at Ms Repose in Nagpur with a theme Vale Bon Voyage.

The farewell witnessed an equal and enthusiastic participation by the faculties like HOD Kartik Uttarwar, Devyani Chopde, Richa Singh, Rohit Turani, to name a few. The students made the evening special with their spell binding dance performances. While the boys looked handsome as they walked down the ramp, the girls were busy striking a pose for Nation Next lens man. Students went down the memory lane as some recalled their memorable moments spent together, through their speeches.
