The Council of Architecture successfully conducted the third NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) exam on September 3 in 150 Indian and six cities abroad. The first test was conducted on April 10, 2021, and the second test was conducted on July 11, 2021.

The test, which was conducted at 181 centres, saw a candidate attendance of 92%, informed architect Habeeb Khan, President, Council of Architecture. Results of the third NATA test will be declared on or before September 8, 2021 on the NATA portal at www.nata.in. 

NATA is an aptitude test, which evaluates the aptitude of a candidate to study architecture. NATA has been designed to assess the aptitude of candidates using different testing formats and techniques.

The first-level-online-Sanskrit classes Sanskrit Sansthanam in Lucknow, successfully came to end. The 20-day classes, which come under the Language Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, had started on 20 July 2021.

The classes were held at various places across the state on 11 August 2021.

In the same sequel, Nootan Vishnu Regmi, Sanskrit language instructor of the institute from Gorakhnath Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Gorakhpur, coordinated this concluding program through Google Meet, which was conducted by Satish Sharma, the language instructor of the institute from Annapurna Gurukul located in Vrajghat, Garhmukteshwar, Uttar Pradesh.

The program was started with an invocation by senior student Piyush TAndon (Lucknow). Sanskrit scholar Dr Madhusudan Mishra, who was called from Jammu and Kashmir as the Chief Guest in the program, told everyone that it is necessary to study Sanskrit to avoid western blindness.

Similarly, Satish Sharma and Nootan Vishnu Regmi also shared their experience of how they learned this new technique of conducting online classes.

They said that with this new experience of conducting a Sanskrit class online, Sanskrit sambhashan would get connected with the people of India as well as foreigners.

Among the students, Nita Tiwari (Hyderabad) Amish Makkar (Punjab) Madan Lal (Nagaland) Nidhi Gupta (Mumbai), Subrat Mondal (West Bengal), Neelam, Yogendra, Meena, Viplav, Subhadra, etc., also narrated their experiences.

Many such students also recited Sanskrit songs.

After 20 days of classes, an examination was held on 10th August at 7-8 pm, wherein 99% of the students have passed with good marks.

The institute would soon provide the certificates to the students. Now foreigners are also showing interest in this scheme and enrolling themselves.

Behind this historic plan, along with the Yogi government, Pawan Kumar (IAS) director of UP Sanskrit Sansthan, President Dr Vachaspati Mishra, training head Sudhist Kumar Mishra and along with the member of the implementation committee of this scheme, the instructors who are the backbone of the scheme played an important role.

Moreover, the students who enrolled and attended the classes played a vital role in the success of the scheme.

In view of the incomparable interest in the Sanskrit language by thousands of students taking these classes, the institute is in the process of giving a concrete shape to the second level Sanskrit sambhashan scheme, which will soon be materialised.
