Indore Crime Branch arrested a 55-year-old man from Nepal named Farukh Bambaiya Khan for allegedly kidnapping a four-year-boy from Nagpur. Khan was arrested in Indore while he was on his way to Nepal via Delhi. Cops believed that Khan was taking the boy to Nepal to sell him there.
Soon, Nagpur Police would take over the investigation. DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra received information from Nagpur Police that an unidentified man had kidnapped a four-year-old boy and that he had boarded a bus to Indore along with the child. Soon, the DIG instructed ASP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya and Khan was arrested near Dhakkanwala Kuan area.
Cops also took with them the four-year-old. Reportedly, Crime Branch recovered Rs 15,000 and a ticket booked for Delhi by the accused. Cops said that the accused was staying at Hotel Kohinoor in Nagpur.
A 30-year-old woman from Nagpur had filed a complaint at Nagpur Police Station saying a man had kidnapped her child.
