Nagpur DCP Zone II Vinita S meets hotel, bar owners to ensure proper execution of COVID-19 norms

Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone II Vinita S, on Monday, convened a meeting with hotel owners, bar and restaurant owners in the jurisdiction of Sitabuldi Police Station at Police Station premises.

The meeting was held in the presence of officers and other staff of Sitabuldi Police Station.

Around 30 owners and operators of various restaurants, bars, hotels and banquet halls were present during the meet.

The owners were instructed and notified of new rules and regulations issued by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Police department, in order to contain the virus outbreak in Nagpur.

They were also instructed to ensure that their respective staff abided the COVID-19 safety norms.

All the establishments were requested to cooperate with police authorities in implementation of guidelines to check spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the city.

Senior Police Inspector Sabnis further instructed them to follow the safety guidelines regarding CCTVs, staff Police verification, etc.
