Nagpur brings in 2017 in style at Gondwana Club

Bidding 2016 good bye and bringing 2017 with a lot of style, noise and bonhomie were Nagpurians at the new year bash held at Gondwana Club yesterday.

Gondwana Club’s new year bash is perceived to be one of the most happening new year bashes in the city and so it’s no surprise that party goers who attended this bash were decked up at their best. While most men were seen dressed up in suits, women upped the glamour quotient with their stylish dresses.

Even before it was 10 pm, many people were seen taking to the dance floor and shaking a leg with their family and friends. Making them dance till they drop was the DJ Spinmaster Kaz who churned out popular and upbeat Bollywood numbers one after the other. Many people chose to spend quality time with their family at the different private enclosures. While Hingna MLA Sameer Meghe was spotted making an entry with his parents – Shalini Meghe and former Rajya Sabha MP Datta Meghe, MLC Parinay Fuke was seen chilling out with his friends Kapil Patel, Praveen Jain and Sarang Uplangawar. Kiran Pandav also brought in his birthday (January 1) at this new year bash along with his close pals.

At this bash which was attended by around 2000 Nagpurians, Gondwana Club’s managing committee members were seen making sure everybody has a gala time. As the countdown to 2017 began, Kaz made the people at the dance floor take out their mobile phones with the flash light on and boy it was a beautiful sight! The moment the clock struck 12, party goers shouted Happy New year even as they hugged each other and welcomed 2017 with a lot of happiness and love!

Perficient family celebrates together at companys annual bash in Nagpur

Professionals working with Perficient India Private Limited had a gala time as they gathered together for the annual party of the company held at The Empress Palace in Nagpur. They were also celebrating the inauguration of the new office premises at IT Park in the city.

During the inauguration in the morning, chief guests Tom Hogan (COO), Kevin Sheen (Vice President) and other guests were welcomed in an Indian traditional manner. Later, employees donning red phetas and dressed in traditional attires thoroughly enjoyed dancing on the beats of dhol in sync with the tasha.

After the cake-cutting, the ribbon cutting ceremony took place following which, Anurag Shivhare, GM, Perficient GDC Nagpur, felicitated guests with shawls and thanked people for their hard work and efforts for the company.

The annual party in the evening started with Ganesh Vandana and then Shweta Rawlani, HCM Generalist, welcomed the audience, which included the companys employees along with their family members.

The entertaining evening had some wonderful song performances, which left the audience mesmerized. The dance performances by ladies kept the audience fully engaged courtesy various dance forms and stellar choreography.

The major highlight of the show was the fashion show – Indica of Synthesis. It was contemporary but essentially traditional in character and exuded an extravagant aura with splashing colors.

There was a distinctive Mute Dance act inspired by Mime artists. During this act, performers hilariously performed on some 90s songs. There was also an electrifying performance from the boys group. The boys danced their heart out with great enthusiasm making the performance memorable.

The Star Awards and Thank You Awards were presented by Tom Hogan and Kevin Sheen along with Anurag Shivhare to recognize the achievers for their unwavering commitment to outstanding performance for the year 2019.
