Two days after their wedding, a couple was quarantined along with seven family members on July 3 as a relative who attended their marriage tested positive for COVID-19 on July 2. The relative, who is a government official and works at Tehsil office in Hingna, is a resident of Pushpanjali Apartments in Reshimbagh.

As per reports, the groom, son of a retired teacher hailing from Mauli Nagar in Wadi got married a few days back. When the government official tested positive, civic body health officials Dr Sushma Dhurve and Dhananjay Gotmare decided to send the couple and seven family members to quarantine centre at Vanamati as a precautionary measure. 

The government official, who is a resident on second floor of Pushpanjali Apartments near RSS headquarters in Reshimbagh, has been admitted to AIIMS. His wife, son and his nephew, who stay with him, were quarantined on July 3.
