Modiji saved Indians from COVID-19 by imposing early nation-wide lockdown: BJP President JP Nadda
Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President JP Nadda, on Friday, praising PM Modi said that the prime minister saved people of India by imposing an early nation-wide strict lockdown. Also, he said that the PM had set an example in the world by fighting COVID-19 pandemic and developing two home-made? vaccines.
Nadda said the same when he was addressing a rally in Lucknow. There, he spoke to BJP party workers and was accompanied by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Modiji is India’s most popular PM and Yogiji is India’s most popular CM. One who changes the face and future of people can get such rankings, said Nadda.
He further stated the COVID-19 pandemic was a challenge for everyone in the world and recent American Presidential elections were solely based on the management of COVID-19. India did very well as compared to other developed nations and that was only possible due to a leader like PM Modi.
Speaking about BJP presentation in recent elections, he said, We have emerged victorious from Bihar to Arunachal. We have won the rural election in Rajasthan as well as the CDC in Jammu & Kashmir. Our victories show that people trust in us and our policies.
India has COVID-19 testing capacity of more than 10 lakh per day. We are manufacturing PPE kits as well as live-saving ventilators. India has 2096 testing labs and more than 1500 dedicated COVID-19 hospitals. All of this was only possible due to lockdown, he added.

An Indian student was killed during shelling in Ukraines Kharkiv on Tuesday morning, Ministry of External Affairs informed in the afternoon. The Ministry tweeted: ?With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry is in touch with his family. We convey our deepest condolences to the family.
In Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, videos showed extensive damage from the Russian military assault. One video showed the city’s largest government building blown up.
While the student is yet to be named by the MEA, sources in the Karnataka state government told The Quint that he had been identified as Naveen Shekhrappa, from Haveri district, Karnataka. The 21-year-old was a student of medicine at Kharkiv National Medical University.
The News Minute reported that Shekhrappa was standing in a queue at a supermarket in Kharkiv to buy food when Russian shelling began.
