Maharashtra’s Bramhapuri, Chandrapur world’s 8th hottest cities on Saturday

As per El Dorado weather website, Bramhapuri and Chandrapur in Maharashtra were the eighth hottest cities in the world with a temperature of 43.4°C on Saturday (April 3).

On Wednesday, March 31, Chandrapur was the fourth hottest city in the world with a temperature of 43.2°C whereas on Thursday, April 1, Bhubaneshwar was the second hottest in the world with a temperature of 44.2°C.

While Regional Meteorological Department (RMD) hasn’t predicted heat wave in Nagpur, the temperature would likely rise to maximum 43°C in coming days.

At a minimum temperature of 8.3°C on Thursday, January 30, Nagpur became the coldest city in Vidarbha followed by Gondia and Buldhana.

Hence, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for Vidarbha for two days – Wednesday and Thursday (January 26 and 27).

After Nagpur recorded Maharashtra’s lowest minimum temperature temperature of 7.8°C on Monday, the mercury dipped further and recorded lowest minimum temperature of 7.6°C on Tuesday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Sunday, due to cold winds blowing from North India, Maharashtra would see a dip in mercury for the next 48 hours.

After days of not-so-severe cold in Nagpur, residents finally woke up to the coldest day of the season in Maharashtra with a minimum temperature of 7.8°C on Monday, December 20.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Sunday, due to cold winds blowing from North India, Maharashtra would see a dip in mercury for the next 48 hours.
