As the garba season enters its last leg, Nagpur’s biggest garba – ‘The Raaas’ – continues to rock, with garba revellers pouring in huge numbers. People from all age groups are letting their hair down with the Bollywood stars and singers, who are visiting ‘The Raaas’ to play garba with Nagpurians.

On seventh Navratri night, Bollywood stars – Varun Sharma (Fukrey’s Choocha) and Aayush Sharma (Loveyatri’s Susu) – upped the entertainment quotient at ‘The Raaas,’ which is being held at The Empress Palace at Wardha Road. Such is the popularity of both the stars that selfie enthusiasts immediately surrounded them as the two entered ‘The Raaas.’ The sounds of Choocha and Susu reverberated the venue.

The Raaas band has become very popular among Nagpurians, and scores of garba revellers are seen untiringly dancing on the band’s beats. “We have been enjoying doing garba here since the day one, as we all have become huge fans of the band here,” said a fashion designer of the city, who, along with her entire group, has been visiting ‘The Raaas’ daily. Bollywood star Sohail Khan will be there at ‘The Raaas’ tonight to pep up the garba enthusiasts of Nagpur.

Last night, current Bollywood heart-throb Kartik Aaryan made ‘The Raaas’ more happening with his charming garba moves. The Empress Palace at Wardha Road, where The Raaas is being held, was literally thronged by Kartik’s fans last night. Tuesday night is also going to be extra special as two very special guests – Varun Sharma (Fukrey’s Choocha) and Aayush Sharma (Loveyatri’s Susu) – are coming to ‘The Raaas’ to play garba with Nagpurians.

‘The Raaas,’ which has become the most favourite destination for the garba revellers of Nagpur, is invoking love for garba in even first timers. An IT professional, in his mid-twenties, said, “I was excited to visit the star-studded ‘Raaas,’ just to have a look at my favourite stars, but after I played a bit of garba here, I have developed a fetish for garba. Now, I am looking forward to be here regularly till 18th. Also, I am huge Sohail Khan fan, so I am very much eager to play garba with him!”

“I don’t know whether you enjoyed or not but I enjoyed a lot (at The Raaas),” said TV superstar Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, sending cheers among scores of garba enthusiasts at Nagpur’s biggest garba – ‘The Raaas.’ “Which language shall I speak in,” when Joshi, put this question to a huge gathering of his fans at ‘The Raaas,’ one sound reverberated the entire venue – “Gujarati” – as the crowd shouted in unison.

Joshi has endeared himself to the kids and adults alike, with his super successful comic timing in playing Jethalal, in Sab TV’s super hit serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In his address to garba revelers at The Empress Palace (Wardha Road), where ‘The Raaas’ is taking place, Joshi praised the organisers (Varsha and Mahesh Kukreja, Vishal Tanna and others), saying that before coming to the venue, he had not even imagined that ‘The Raaas’ would be such a huge event. He said that he was surprised to see the magnitude and the grandeur of ‘The Raaas.’
