On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, the annual Billiards and Snooker Tournament was held at Gondwana Club, Nagpur. While Jamashp Bapuna ((President, Managing Committee of Gondwana Club) was the chief guest at the tournament, Jatin Kale and Jatin Tarkunde (committee members and in-charge sports) were also present.
This annual Billiards and Snooker Tournament of Gondwana Club which is being organsied since 1960 in the memory of Late Dwarkadasji Daga was started by Harikishan Mohta. While the cash prizes for the Billiards Trophy are sponsored by Shreeratan Daga, the cash prizes for Snooker Trophy are sponsored by Vinod Saraf. A silver snooker table is also installed at the club in the memory of Late Godavaridevi Saraf.
At the end of the tournament, Shravan Mohta was announced as the winner of the Billiards and Snooker Tournament 2016 and Sahil Gadhiya was announced as the 1st runner-up.
