“I request everyone to not spread misinformation about Covid vaccine. I had appealed to the Centre to provide free COVID vaccine to all. If Centre doesn’t do it and a need arises, it will be provided for free to people of Delhi,” Kejriwal said during his visit to the family of Dr Hitesh Gupta, who lost his life due to COVID-19, working as a frontline worker. 

“We had started a scheme to encourage COVID-19 warriors and under it, I have come to provide help of rupees one crore to the family. His wife is educated and we would recruit her in Delhi government,” he said. 

On the other hand, Delhi Congress President Anil Kumar, on Tuesday, had alleged that Delhi government failed to create a robust health infrastructure to tackle COVID-19 pandemic as none of it’s Mohalla clinics had figured in the 89 centres selected for the vaccination drive from January 16.
