Congress spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi passed away due to cardiac arrest at his residence in Ghaziabad on Wednesday (August 12). As per initial reports, Tyagi was taken to Yashoda Hospital after he suddenly collapsed at his home. 

The news of Tyagis untimely demise was communicated by Congress through the party’s official Twitter handle. The tweet read: We are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Shri Rajiv Tyagi. A staunch Congressman & a true patriot. Our thoughts and prayers are with his families & friends in this time of grief. 

 

In October 2019, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi appointed Tyagi as its media in-charge in Uttar Pradesh. Over the years, Tyagi worked at various capacities in the party. He was also assigned to handle the media in Mumbai in the Maharashtra Assembly polls in 2019.

KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata

Renowned playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata. The singer performed at Nazul Mancha auditorium on Tuesday (May 31). He went to his hotel after his performance and collapsed. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The exact cause of his death is unknown as of now.

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a suspected heart attack, his management has confirmed.

A statement by the managenent read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
