ALL THINGS COMEDY: Stand-up comedian Daniel Fernandes fits the bill perfectly with his satire at VNIT College in Nagpur

The gates to the much talked about annual cultural Festival – Aarohi ? opened to unprecedented medley of excitement and zeal among the students of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT). Popular stand-up comedian Daniel Fernandes, who’s known for his black humour, tickled the audiences funny bones and yet delivered a message with his amazing gags and punches during the event Stand Up Night with Daniel Fernandes recently at Nagpur. The best part of the evening was when Daniel interacted with the audience and asked them some interesting questions about their personal lives!
Students were present in full attendance at the auditorium as Daniel brought down the house with hilarious jokes. He also explained the audience about how one can make people laugh without crossing the thin line. Dr Yogesh Deshpande (HOD) of VNIT, along with other faculty members graced the event with their presence.

Naalayak Band gives a rocking ending to VNITs cultural fest Aarohi 2018
Music band ? Naalayak ? gave a perfect ending to Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology’s (VNIT) cultural fest Aarohi 2018 as the band played on the last day of the three-day fest on October 28 in Nagpur. The mega event held on the last day of Aarohi 2018, which was organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner, brought hundreds of music lovers to VNIT to enjoy the renditions by Naalayak Band.

Naalayak, which is a 4 piece indie rock band from Chandigarh, comprises of Sahil Samuel (Vocalist), Akshat Kakar (Lead Guitarist), Garry Singh (Drummer) and Aashish Kalanta (Bassist). Together, these four musicians floored the people present with their performance.

Apart from various fun and entertainment activities, a food fest called Foodie-staan? was also held during the three-day fest. Throughout the three days, foodies could be spotted relishing lip smacking snacks and delicious delicacies at Foodie-staan.

Budding singers battle it out at ‘Swarmanzar’ at VNITs cultural fest Aarohi 2018 in Nagpur
Budding singers were seen showcasing their musical skills at the finale of Swarmanzar a singing competition held in association with Nation Next during Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology’s (VNIT) cultural fest Aarohi 2018 in Nagpur. Citys young singer Shreya Jain was the judge at the finale of Swarmanzar.
The elimination round of the singing competition was held on October 20. During the elimination round several students of other city colleges and even non-students participated in the competition. The selected contestants then battled it out at the finale on October 27.

At the end of the finale, singers who were adjudged as the winners included:

Youngsters groove to tunes of EDM at VNITs cultural fest Aarohi 2018
Nagpur youngsters were seen having a rocking time grooving to the tunes of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) at an EDM Nite organised on October 26 on the first day of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology’s (VNIT) three-day cultural fest Aarohi 2018.
The fest, which was organised in association with Nation Next as the Online Media Partner, brought popular EDM artists Seezi and Audio Addicts to play at the fest. City artist DJ Arsh also entertained people present with his music. Together, these artists made sure that dance and music enthusiasts had a memorable time during the EDM Nite.
VNITs cultural fest Aarohi 2018 was organised from October 26 to October 28. The fest consisted of several intercollegiate competitions and other mega events.
