33-year-old fitness influencer who told followers ‘COVID-19 doesn’t exist’ dies after contracting virus

Ukrainian fitness influencer, Dmitriy Stuzhuk, who had once told his followers that COVID-19 doesn’t exist, recently died at the age of just 33 after contracting the virus on his trip to Turkey. Dmitriys ex-wife Sofia (25) confirmed the news of his death on her Instagram profile.
As reported in Sky News, Dmitriy had been discharged from a Ukraine hospital after testing COVID-19 positive but was rushed back due to ?problems with his cardiovascular system and his rapidly deteriorating condition. His heart is not coping. His state is extremely grave. No-one can do anything with this,Sofia told one of her followers on Instagram.
I did everything I could so the father of my three children lives. But nothing depends on me now, she added. She later announced Dmitriys death, saying, Dima is no longer with us. His heart could not stand.

After being infected with coronavirus, Dmitriy had shared with his followers as he wrote: I want to share how I got sick and to strongly warn everyone. I was one who thought that Covid does not exist? Until I got sick. COVID-19 IS NOT A SHORT-LIVED DISEASE! And it is heavy, he had added.
After returning from Turkey, the fitness enthusiast tested positive for COVID-19 and was immediately admitted to a hospital. After receiving treatment for eight days, he was discharged to go home but died the following day due to his grave condition.

Active COVID cases near 30,000 mark in Nagpur

Nagpur’s COVID-19 tally, on Tuesday, January 25, reached 5,43,064 (till 5 pm) as 4028 (972 from rural and 2956 from city) new cases were recorded in a single day.
Also, active COVID cases, as on Tuesday, could be seen inching closer to 30,000 mark in the district.
