International Conference on Disruptive Technology For Achieving Sustainable Development Goals by Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology Nagpur, Abha Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering Nagpur.
Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology Nagpur along with Abha Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering Nagpur jointly organised AICTE sponsored ninth International Conference on Disruptive Technology For Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (IC-DTSDG22) on December 22 and 23. This conference was organised with the aim to provide a path in order to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals decided by the United Nations.
In the inaugural function of the IC-DTSDG22 Dr Alok Prakash Mittal, Director, NSUT, New Delhi and former Member Secretary, AICTE New Delhi was the chief guest. Also Ms. Nicole Martin from USA was present as guest of honour for this conference. Dang Thin Hang, Di Con Dam and Li Con Dam from Vietnam were also present during the inaugural function.
Dr Alok Prakash Mittal in his inaugural speech discussed sustainable development in parallel with technological development. Nicol Martin congratulated the institute for organising the international conference. She also stressed on how sustainable development goals could be achieved.
Two faculties Dr Juntkan Tawkeen and Dr Arkom Palamanit from Prince of Songkla University Thailand joined online and delivered their keynote on future prospects of renewable energy sources.
There was an overwhelming response for the conference where 250 papers were selected. These papers were from abroad and within India as well. There was representation from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and the United States of America. From India, the participants were from various states such as Karnataka, Pondicherry, Telangana, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh participated in the conference. The scholars of this conference within Maharashtra came from places such as Pune, Mumbai, Dhule, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Wardha, Amravati, Chandrapur, Brahmapuri and Gondia.
Due to the motivation of Dr Mohan Gaikwad Patil, Chairman GPG this conference was organised successfully. There was a continuous guidance from Mr Akash Gaikwad Patil vice-chairman GPG and Prof. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer GPGI for organising the conference. With the support of Dr. Anil Kale, Principal TGPCET, Dr. Prashant Kadu, Convener, Prof Pragati Patil, Co-convener and Vice-Principal TGPCET. Organising committee members exerted themselves for this international conference.

Umesh Yadav teases teammate Shubham Gill with epic Tinder billboards in Nagpur

Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav had a ‘field day’ teasing his team member Shubham Gill after Tinder – a popular dating app – showed a photo of a girl with a placard on large billboards in Nagpur that read, “Shubman idhar toh dekh lo” (Shubman, have a look here).” Tinder was quick to capitalise on the joke and turn it into hoardings in Nagpur ahead of India first Test match vs Australia.
Taking to twitter, Yadav wrote, “Poora Nagpur bol raha hai, Shubman Gill ab toh dekh le.”

During India’s T20 match in Ahmedabad, a picture of a female fan holding a placard that read ‘Tinder, Shubman se match kara do” (Tinder, match me with Shubman)’ had gone viral.
