Nagpur Tigers Round Table 299 (NTRT-299) developed and inaugurated a Zilla Parishad school at Chankapur, Nagpur. Round Table India works on the motto of Educate to Empower. The application and paper work for building school started on 13th October, 2021 and with full heart and zest the table completed the school at Chankapur which was inaugurated exactly a year after on 16th October, 2022.
Nagpur Tigers Round Table 299 built eight classrooms and two toilets at the ZP school Chankapur. NTRT 299 expresses their heartfelt gratitude to all their donors especially ‘Yahoo’ for the contribution and for believing in us and helping us in fulfilling our dreams.
The inauguration was held on 16th October, 2022 was attended by Round Table National Treasurer Tr. Rachit Bansal, National Project Convener Tr. Manoj Bhansali, Round Table Area 3 Chairman Tr. Kunal Agarwal, AIPC Tr. Vedant Agarwal and the headboard of NTRT299 Chairman Tr. Shubham Jain, Vice- Chairman Tr. Nishant Yaducka, Secretary Tr. Niraj Agarwal and Treasurer Tr. Shashank Agarwal along with other members of NTRT-299 namely Tr. Kishore Murarka, Tr. Neeraj Khemka, Tr. Ishwadeep Sethi, Tr. Deepak Agrawal, Tr. Anshul Harde, Tr. Anuj Jejani, Tr. Piyush Goyal, Tr. Ashwin Jain, Tr. Jagvijay Gandhi along with the Table HT Square Leg Amit Poddar and Table Jewel Square Leg Rohit Lakhotia. All the Tablers with their Spouses, Family and kids graced the function and where overwhelmed to see how many lives it touched.
It was a great gesture by the Table to get the classes inaugurated by the family members of each Tabler. The children of the school showcased their performance and were extremely happy to see the school. The teachers and staff of the school expressed their gratitude towards Round Table India and NTRT299.
The school was built at an outlay of approximately Rupees 65 lakh including school building, furniture, etc. Funds were collected through multiple innovative mediums at – through fundraising activities by NTRT 299 and donations from Yahoo, as well as donations from friends and family to support this endeavor. Round Table India is a registered trust and also eligible to take CSR donations.
Round Table India is a young men’s organization aimed at promoting community service and goodwill in national and international affairs. Round table is present in 67 countries worldwide with over 65,000 members. Round Table India has more than 320 Tables (chapters) located in 95 plus cities and towns.
Round Table India (RTI) is an organization of non-political and non-sectarian young men between the age group of 18 and 40 promoting service, fellowship and goodwill in national and international affairs. Working towards the education of underprivileged children, till date, 7890 classrooms have been built across India in, impacting 8.67 million children.
Round Table India is a zero overhead organization and therefore every rupee raised by the organization goes purely into charitable projects.

Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav had a ‘field day’ teasing his team member Shubham Gill after Tinder – a popular dating app – showed a photo of a girl with a placard on large billboards in Nagpur that read, “Shubman idhar toh dekh lo” (Shubman, have a look here).” Tinder was quick to capitalise on the joke and turn it into hoardings in Nagpur ahead of India first Test match vs Australia.
Taking to twitter, Yadav wrote, “Poora Nagpur bol raha hai, Shubman Gill ab toh dekh le.”

During India’s T20 match in Ahmedabad, a picture of a female fan holding a placard that read ‘Tinder, Shubman se match kara do” (Tinder, match me with Shubman)’ had gone viral.
