1. गुरुवार 1 दिसंबर को सुबह ED के officers ने एक साथ शहर के 4 major सुपारीवालों के यहाँ raid शुरू कर दी. जिन सुपारी व्यापारियों के यहां आज छापे पड़े है,उनमें प्रकाश गोयल,आसिफ कलीवाला, दिग्विजय ट्रांसपोर्ट के हिमांशु शामिल है.जानकारी के अनुसार यह सभी सुपारी व्यापारी विदेश से सुपारी का import करनेवाले है. इससे पहले भी यह लोग अलग-अलग various investigation agencies के निशाने पर आ चुके है. नागपूर पुलिस ने भी इनमें से कुछ सुपारी व्यापारियों पर सड़ी सुपारी को लेकर कार्रवाई की थी. जानकारी यह भी है कि कल शाम से ही ed के officers शहर में मौजूद थे. इस team में मुंबई के अलावा दूसरे शहरों के officers भी शामिल थे. सुबह ही सुपारी व्यापारियों के यहां raid पड़ने की खबर शहर में फ़ैल गई थी. इससे बाकी सुपारी व्यापारी भी alert हो गए है.
2. नागपुर शहर की central जेल में कुछ दिन पहले गांजा, सिगरेट, खर्रे जैसे नशीली चीजें मिली थी. जिसके बाद यह बात काफी फ़ैल चुकी थी. यह चीजें कैदियों को कोई और नहीं बल्कि जेल के कर्मचारी ही दे रहे थे. गुरुवार 1 दिसंबर को अब एक investigation में एक नया racket सामने आया है, जो जेल के अंदर से फ़ोन से ऑपरेट हो रहा था. इस रैकेट की ओर से नशीली वस्तुएं जेल के अंदर मंगवाई जा रही थी. इसमें जेल के guard भी शामिल मिले है. पुलिस ने इस मामले में 5 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है. जिसमें 2 jail guard भी शामिल है. इन आरोपियों में श्रीकांत थोरात, गोपाल पराते, राहुल मेंढेकर, अजिंक्य राठौड़ और प्रशांत राठौर शामिल है. इस मामले में शहर के cp अमितेश कुमार ने बताया कि अजिंक्य और प्रशांत दोनों jail guard है, श्रीकांत, गोपाल और राहुल क्रिमिनल है. उन्हें करीब डेढ़ साल पहले mpda लगाकर जेल भेजा गया था. यह सब सेटिंग करके जेल में गांजा और दूसरी चीजें मंगाते थे. इनका रेट भी फिक्स था. गांजे के लिए 5 हजार रुपए , खाने की चीजें लाने के लिए 2 से 3 हजार, तो वही कपडे और स्वेटर लाने के लिए हजार रुपए लिए जाते थे. cp अमितेश कुमार को मंगलवार को इस racket की टिप मिली थी. इसके बाद उन्होंने क्राइम ब्रांच और साइबर सेल की मदद से investigation शुरू की. जेल से एक सिमकार्ड ऑपरेट होने की जानकारी सामने आयी.पुलिस ने callers और व्हाट्सप्प की जांच की तो यह पूरा रैकेट सामने आया.
3. नागपूर शहर में इन दिनों कई जगहों पर देर रात तक पार्टियां होती है, restaurents,बार रात तक खुले रहते है. यहां पर dj और music programme भी किए जाते है. लेकिन अब ऐसे लोगों की खैर नहीं. गुरुवार 1 दिसंबर को शहर के cp अमितेश कुमार ने देर रात तक पार्टियों का आयोजन करनेवालों के खिलाफ सख्ती से निपटने के instruction दिए है. उन्होंने जनवरी तक अलग -अलग जगहों के लिए कई rules लगाए है, इनका violation करनेवालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करने के instructions पुलिस officers को दिए है. यह restraining order 25 नवंबर 2022 से लेकर 23 जनवरी 2023 जनवरी तक लागू रहेगा. इस instruction के मुताबिक़ होटल, बार, restaurants, banquet hall, lawn, खुले मैदान और दूसरी जगहों पर music programme, dj पार्टी के लिए CP ऑफिस से permission लेनी जरुरी है. इसके साथ -साथ कई rules और भी लगाएं गए है.
4. बुधवार 31 नवंबर को लक्ष्मीभवन चौक के Cuba Hukka Parlour पर क्राइम ब्रांच की unit -2 की टीम ने raid मारकर owner समेत दो लोगों के खिलाफ बर्डी पुलिस स्टेशन में मामला दर्ज किया है. जानकारी के अनुसार लक्ष्मीभवन चौक के गोतमारे मार्केट नाम की बिल्डिंग के दूसरे floor पर Cuba Cafe नाम से यह हुक्का parlour चल रहा था. देर रात तक चलनेवाले इस पार्लर की गुप्त जानकारी मिलने के बाद क्राइम ब्रांच की टीम ने raid मारी तो parlour owner प्रफुल चौधरी और उसका मैनेजर अविनाश नाईक ग्राहकों को हुक्का पिलाते हुए पकडे गए. पार्लर में अचानक हुई इस raid के कारण यहां बैठे customers में हड़कंप मच गया. इस पार्लर से tobacco के पैकेट, 5 हुक्का pot, 9 चिलम जब्त किए गए है.
5. बुधवार 31 नवंबर को शहर के एक कबाड़ीवाले की दूकान में भाजप के former MLA के Awards और Honors मिलने के कारण यह बात शहर में फ़ैल गई. यह awards कई संस्थाओ की ओर से दिए MLA को दिए गए थे. यह सभी awards former MLA अनिल सोले के थे. इसके बाद जब यह खबर फैली तो इसकी जानकारी सोले के ऑफिस में भी पहुंची, जानकारी मिलते ही उनके pa काचीपुरा के कबाड़ीवाले के पास पहुंचे और उससे सभी सामान वापस लिया. सोले के मुताबिक़ उनके ऑफिस को दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट किया जा रहा है. जिसके कारण यह अवार्ड्स और सामान एक बोरे में भरकर रखे थे. कर्मचारियों को रद्दी बेचने के लिए कहां था. लेकिन उसने रद्दी समझकर उसने यह बोरा भी यहां लाया होगा. हम नए ऑफिस में awards रखने के लिए यह बोरा ढूंढ रहे थे. इतने में यह awards रद्दी वाले के पास मिलने की information मिली.उसके पास पहुंचकर हमने सभी awards वापस लिए है. बुधवार को दिनभर शहर के politics से जुड़े लोगों में यही चर्चा चल रही थी.

Ex-Home Ministe Anil Deshmukh on Monday was granted permission to travel outside Mumbai for four weeks by a special court on Monday.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and former Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh on Monday was granted permission to travel outside Mumbai for four weeks by a special court on Monday. Deshmukh had sought permission to visit his constituency, which is also his hometown, Nagpur.
The application was filed by Deshmukh through his lawyer, Inderpal Singh, stating that he is a native of Nagpur with deep family roots in the city apart from being an elected representative of his constituency.
“The applicant craves a benevolent indulgence of this court to permit him to travel outside Greater Mumbai, including District Nagpur, for a limited duration of about four weeks so as to maintain continuity in his social and family ties and also visit his original and permanent home/constituency,” the plea stated.
The plea further added that “the applicant needs to have due legal consultation with his lawyers in New Delhi for further course of strategy in the present and connected cases.”

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her fifth straight Union Budget when she presented financial statements and tax proposals for fiscal year 2023-24.
Here are some lesser known facts about Union Budget…
The British government presented India’s first ever Union Budget on April 7, 1860.
The first budget of independent India was presented by country’s first Finance Minister RK Shanmukham Chetty on November 26, 1947.
Even though traditionally, the finance ministers present the budget, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi are the only Prime Ministers to have presented the Union Budget instead of Finance Ministers.
Until 1955, the Union Budget was presented in English. However, the Congress government then decided to print the Budget papers in both Hindi and English.
In 2019, Sitharaman became the second woman to table the budget after Indira Gandhi who presented the budget for the year 1970-71.
Earlier, the government tabled the rail budget separately for 92 years but since 2017, the rail budget was merged with the Union Budget.
Until 1999, the government tabled the Union Budget at 5 pm on the last working day of February as per British era practice but
former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha changed the timing to 11 am. Years after, late Finance Minister Arun Jaitely changed the budget presentation to February 1.
There’s a customary event called the ‘halwa ceremony’ that is held every year ahead of the Union Budget. It is considered as a gesture of appreciation for all people who have worked on the Union Budget.
To ensure the secrecy of the budget document, a lock-in process is followed – in which all the officials involved
in preparing the Budget come out of Parliament’s North Block only after the Finance Minister has presented the budget.
In 2021, Sitharaman became the first to table paperless Union Budget.
Former Prime Minister Moraraji Desai holds the record of presenting 10 budgets as finance minister, which is the maximum so far.
