Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur conducted a Blessing Assembly for the students of Grade X, on 10th February, 2023. The assembly commenced spiritually with a beautiful recitation of a Sankrit Shlok by Dr. Brijbhushan Upadhayay, Headmaster, DPS Kamptee Road, Nagpur. 

The recitation was followed by a hearty welcome of the Chief Guest, Mr. Hitesh Dewani, Founder-Director of HR Mentors, Director and Marketing Head of Career Mentors, which is an institution that is dedicated to lay the right career foundation for students. Mr. Hitesh has also been a part of diverse sectors such as Education, Finance, Consulting and Business Process Outsourcing.

Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, DPS Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur, addressed the students and wished them good luck and success in all their future endeavours. Ms. Ritu Sharma, Principal, DPS Kamptee Road, Nagpur, extended a warm welcome and wished the students success for their upcoming examination. Words of wisdom and encouragement were shared by the Chief Guest, Mr. Hitesh Dewani. 

The assembly was carried forward by inviting the students on the dais to receive the blessings of the dignitaries. The dignitaries pinned good luck badges which symbolically expressed their love and well wishes for the outgoing students. The presence of such an intellectual board of guests and dignitaries made the assembly a potential memory of success and motivation for the students. 

The assembly concluded with the vote of thanks and on a bright and promising note by giving all the stars of the next generation a warm touch of blessings.

Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.

The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
